Sending Prayers

Happy Saturday Lovelies!

I changed my plan a little bit with this post, initially I thought on making a bookmark; but after listening to the story of a friend that is going through a rough time, I decided that it was better to make a card for her and sharing with all of you, specially with the ones that may need at this moment hugs and prayers, please know you are never alone!

For today's card I used Beautiful Blooms Hydrangea, I started stamping my image on versamark and embossing it with white embossing powder from Hero Arts, then I colored the back of my image with tombow markers, you don't really need to be extra careful coloring with this technique since is not going to show the detail, that's why I love it! After I colored it, I fussy cut my image and attached it to my base card being careful of putting the glue only on the spots I can hide, either with an embellishments or embossed in white, then on the center of my flower I added nuvo drops in Ivory Seashell color, then I stamped my sentiment sending hugs and for the prayers I die cut a banner and wrote it on calligraphy.

For the last touch I added the beautiful sequins from the Pink Champagne sequin mix.

This is a very easy and quick card with a beautiful bouquet that can be used for any occasion, hope you can give it a try :)

Big Hugs to all,
Alba

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T
