My Planner Tag

Happy Hump Day!

Today I am super happy to share this very personal tag I made for my Erin Condren planner with my beautiful niece, her birthday is coming up and I wanted to make a tag to mark this special day!

To make this tag, I stamped the gorgeous Rose stamp called Splendid Roses from Kennedy Grace on watercolor paper and embossed it with gold embossing powder from the Paper Source (you know I have a thing for gold :D ), then colored my image with zig kuretake clean color, next I wrote on calligraphy her name and birthdate.

After that, I die cut my little frame and masked some stripes with washi tape and applied distress inks with my blending tool, because I love texture, I added nuvo drops matching the colors of my roses and a sticker from my planner, this tag was attached to my planner with the CoilClip connectors which I find really useful since I can attach any card or extra tag to my planner with them. To finish it up, I added   the picture of my beautiful niece, I will place this tag on the month of October to remind me this special day, she is a very sweet girl, we are all so proud of her!

Don't forget to check the bundle sale Michelle has this month, besides enjoying some beautiful stamps you will be contributing to a wonderful cause like the Susan G Koeman foundation.

Have a great rest of the week!
Big Hugs,
Alba

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T
