April Blog Hop!

Good Morning Crafty Friends and Welcome to Kennedy Grace Creations April Blog Hop!
We are so happy you have stopped by and joined us for this very special event!

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store!

Here is what I created for you today

For this card I did some lovely coloring with colored pencils I wanted this to be a very soft effect. I took the stamp set and stamped it several times along the edge masking off parts so they would look behind some and in front of others.  I love how it came out.  I then fussy cut and pupped them up.  I then added  a piece of pink glitter tape and thin piece of black and white stipe.  Stamped simple greeting and added a splash of the new Paris in Spring sequins and it was done.

When I was coloring the flowers for the first card I decided might as well make two cards while I am coloring.  So that is what I did. As you can see the flowers are an exact match for the ones in my first card.  I have a little bag of just random extra's when I make cards and love to use the extra's I have to see what I can do with them . This card is the result of those.  I really like how well they all went together.  It is awesome to think outside the box for the random pieces we all have left.  :)

For this card I did some lovely coloring with water coloring with white heat embossing.  I wanted this to be a very soft effect. I took the stamp set and stamped it several times along the edge. I love how it came out.  I used distress inks to color these images and did some spattering for a soft effect.  Last adding some sequins to tie it all together.

I am so excited to have created these one new stamp set as well as three new sequins mixes.  I put a lot of love and thought in to these sets.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

We will be giving away one prize a $15.00 gift certificate to the Kennedy Grace Shop
 one lucky winner.

We hope you have enjoyed this release and will hop along to see what our talented designers have made using the new stamps sets and sequins from the April release.

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T
